OFFscreen Digital Detox: Art & Movement Retreat (March 7-14th, 2027)

COME BACK TO REALITY.

An 8-day digital detox retreat in South Goa

8 days. Two worlds. One very simple idea: Give yourself enough time away from the screen to remember what it feels like to be completely here.

Spend four nights by the beach and four nights in the jungle, surrounded by nature, art, movement, good food and people who also want to slow down.

No endless notifications. No algorithm deciding what you see next. No pressure to be productive every minute.

Just eight days of making, moving, exploring, resting and being present.

RESERVE YOUR SPOT!

South Goa · 8 days · Beach + Jungle · Art · Yoga · Meditation

WHEN DID BEING CONNECTED BECOME SO EXHAUSTING?

You wake up and reach for your phone. You check one thing. Then another. A message. An email. Instagram. The news. A video. Another video.

Before your day has even begun, you've already consumed hundreds of pieces of information.

And somehow, even after spending hours online, you still feel like you haven't really done anything.

You travel with your phone. You eat with your phone. You lie in bed with your phone. You even take breaks from work by looking at another screen.

Your mind rarely gets a chance to simply be.

Maybe you don't need another productivity hack. Maybe you don't need another wellness app. Maybe you just need to step away.

WHAT IF YOU DISAPPEARED FOR 8 DAYS?

Imagine waking up without immediately checking what's happening in the world. Imagine having breakfast without your phone beside you. Imagine walking somewhere beautiful and not thinking about photographing it. Imagine spending an afternoon making something with your hands. Imagine having a conversation that isn't interrupted by a notification. Imagine sitting quietly and realizing that you're not bored.

You're just present.

This is what we're creating in South Goa.

A space where the screen becomes less important and reality becomes interesting again.

YOUR PHONE TAKES A HOLIDAY TOO.

This isn't a retreat where you're encouraged to spend a little less time on your phone. We're creating intentional periods of real disconnection.

During the digital detox periods, phones are handed over to the hosts and kept safely away. No checking. No scrolling. No “just one quick thing.”

Instead, you'll have something better to do.

Make something. Walk somewhere. Talk to someone. Swim. Rest. Read. Meditate. Look at the sky. Do absolutely nothing.

And slowly discover that doing nothing can feel surprisingly good.

Emergency communication is still available through the retreat hosts, so you're not completely unreachable when it genuinely matters.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO QUIT TECHNOLOGY.

You just need to give your mind something better to do.

We're not anti-technology. Technology is incredibly useful.

The problem is what happens when every empty moment automatically gets filled by a screen.

So instead of simply taking something away, this retreat gives you something back.

CREATE

Make art. Explore your creativity. Work with your hands. Let yourself make something without worrying whether it's “good.”

MOVE

Yoga, walks, exploring and time outdoors. Give your body a reason to slow down too.

BE

Meditation, quiet moments and uninterrupted time with yourself.

EXPLORE

Experience South Goa through its beaches, forests, food, landscapes and slower rhythm.

CONNECT

Share meals. Have conversations. Meet people. Be around others without everyone disappearing into their phones.

FROM THE BEACH TO THE JUNGLE

Your retreat unfolds across two very different sides of South Goa.

DAYS 1–4 — THE BEACH

Start by slowing down.

Four nights surrounded by the warmth, openness and rhythm of the coast.

Wake up to a different kind of morning. Move your body. Create. Eat together. Walk. Rest. Watch the sunset.

Let the ocean do what it has been doing for millions of years: absolutely nothing in a hurry.

The first four days are about letting go.

DAYS 5–8 — THE JUNGLE

Then we go deeper.

Leave the coast behind and move into the green, quiet world of the jungle.

More nature. More space. More time to reflect. More opportunities to explore.

The change in environment creates a natural second chapter to the retreat.

The first half helps you disconnect. The second helps you reconnect.

With yourself. With other people. With your surroundings. With the simple pleasure of being alive.

A DAY WITHOUT THE INTERNET

There isn't one perfect way to spend your day.

That's the point.

But a typical day might look something like this:

MORNING

Wake up without an alarm from your phone. Yoga. Meditation. A slow breakfast.

No rushing to check what's happened overnight.

DAY

A creative experience. A nature walk. Time to explore. Time to rest. Time to read. Time to make something. Time to do absolutely nothing.

EVENING

Watch the light change. Meditate. Eat together. Talk. Laugh. Listen. Look around.

And eventually go to sleep without taking the entire internet with you.

The schedule gives you structure. The space gives you freedom.

YOUR HANDS NEED SOMETHING TO DO.

One of the biggest differences between this retreat and simply going on a holiday is art.

When you take away the screen, we don't want to leave a giant empty space.

We want to fill it with something meaningful. Something tactile. Something slow. Something that asks you to pay attention.

Something you make yourself.

As an artist who has spent over a decade creating intricate artwork from thousands of individually placed dots, Jindots brings creativity into the centre of the retreat.

You'll have opportunities to explore art without worrying about whether you're an artist.

There is no portfolio requirement. No talent test. No right answer.

Just your hands, your attention and the space to make.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SLOW DOWN?

Something interesting.

You start noticing things.

The texture of a leaf. The sound of insects. The taste of your food. The person sitting across from you. The shape of a cloud. The fact that you haven't checked your phone for several hours.

The fact that you're okay.

Maybe even better than okay.

Maybe you're enjoying reality.

CREATED BY JINDOTS

For more than a decade, artist Jindots has been creating intricate artwork using thousands of hand-placed dots.

His work is intentionally slow. It requires focus, patience and presence.

That philosophy is at the heart of this retreat.

Because the same mind that can become absorbed in endless scrolling can also become absorbed in making.

The difference is what you're giving your attention to.

This retreat is an extension of that idea:

Take your attention back.

Not through discipline. Not through guilt. But through experiences that are simply more interesting than the screen.

YOGA WITH ALISHA MISTRY

Movement is an important part of learning how to slow down.

Yoga sessions with Alisha Mistry are designed to give you space to reconnect with your body, breathe, stretch and become aware of how you're actually feeling.

You don't need to be an experienced yogi. You don't need to touch your toes.

You just need to show up.

SOUTH GOA

A place where slowing down comes naturally.

South Goa offers a very different rhythm from the busy, crowded image many people associate with Goa.

Here, nature is part of the experience.

The beach. The forest. The warmth. The food. The quiet roads. The sunsets. The slower mornings.

And the fact that there is very little reason to rush.

We're not bringing you to South Goa simply because it's beautiful.

We're bringing you here because the environment itself helps create the kind of retreat we're looking for.

FOUR NIGHTS BY THE BEACH.

Wake up close to the coast. Spend time outdoors. Eat together. Create. Move. Rest.

Let the days become less about what comes next and more about what is happening right now.

FOUR NIGHTS IN THE JUNGLE.

Then change the scenery completely. Surrounded by greenery and nature, the jungle portion of the retreat gives you a different kind of quiet.

Less ocean. More forest. Less stimulation. More space.

A chance to go a little deeper into the experience.

FOOD THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER

Three meals are included every day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is vegetarian, with meat options available at dinner when ordering out.

Meals aren't just something squeezed between activities.

They're part of the experience.

A chance to sit down. Talk. Eat slowly. And actually notice the people you're sharing the table with.

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

This retreat is for you if:

You feel overstimulated.

Your brain is constantly jumping between apps, messages, tasks and thoughts.

You want to spend less time consuming and more time creating.

You miss having hobbies that don't involve a screen.

You want to travel differently.

Not another holiday where you return home needing a holiday.

You want to reconnect with yourself.

Without productivity targets, notifications or constant external input.

You want meaningful human connection.

You'd rather have a long conversation than sit beside someone while both of you scroll.

You want to experience India.

Not through a tour bus window, but slowly, through nature, food, art and everyday experiences.

AND IF YOU'RE COMING ALONE?

That's completely okay.

In fact, you may find that coming alone gives you more freedom to experience the retreat on your own terms.

You won't be expected to know anyone beforehand. You'll share experiences, meals, creative sessions and conversations with a small group of people who have chosen to step away from the same noise.

Come alone.

Leave having met people you wouldn't otherwise have met.

THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE.

We want to be honest about that.

This probably isn't the retreat for you if you want:

Constant nightlife. A packed tourist itinerary. Unlimited access to your phone. A luxury resort experience where you never have to interact with anyone. Something to keep you entertained every second of the day.

There will be quiet.

There will be unstructured time. There will be moments when you don't know what to do.

And that's intentional.

Because part of learning to enjoy reality again is learning that every empty moment doesn't need to be filled.

What if my family needs to contact me?

Emergency communication arrangements will be provided to participants before the retreat. You'll never be completely unreachable in an emergency.

Can I use my phone outside the detox hours?

Yes, according to the retreat's digital detox schedule. The purpose isn't to punish you for owning a phone. It's to create meaningful periods where you don't need one.

Absolutely not.

The creative sessions are designed to be accessible even if you've never considered yourself artistic.

Do I need to know yoga?

No. Yoga sessions are suitable for different experience levels.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Many people are perfectly comfortable joining retreats alone, and the shared experiences make it easy to meet others.

Is this a therapy retreat?

No. This is a creative and experiential retreat centred around digital detox, art, nature, yoga, meditation and mindful leisure. It is not a substitute for professional mental-health treatment.

Is food included?

Yes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included throughout the retreat. Food is vegetarian, with meat options available at dinner when ordering out.

And yes, you can bring your phone.

You just won't be spending all day with it.

YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER SCREEN.

You probably already have enough apps. Enough notifications. Enough things asking for your attention.

For eight days, we're going to try something different.

We're going to give your attention back to you.

To your hands. To your body. To nature. To art. To other people. To the food you're eating. To the place you're standing. To the moment you're actually in.

Switch off the “I need to do this…”

And get to “I am enjoying reality.”
