About the artist

Hi, I’m Jinesh Parekh, aka Jindots. I’m a self-taught artist based in Mumbai, where I was born and continue to create. For over 12 years, I’ve been exploring the intersection of visionary art and pointillism, crafting intricate, meditative pieces that fuse anatomy, nature, mythology, and magic worlds using thousands of tiny, intentional dots.

My work is inspired by altered states, lucid dreams, ancient symbolism, and the unseen forces that shape our inner worlds. Using fluorescent gel pens on black paper, I create artworks that transform under black light, glowing with energy and revealing hidden dimensions. Each piece is meant to be a portal that invites quiet reflection, introspection, and a deeper connection to the self.

Drawings take over a month to complete. Each dot is placed with focus and intention, like a visual mantra. This slow, analogue process is central to my practice and serves as a grounding ritual in a fast-moving world.

My work has been collected in the United States, Europe, and Asia by those who are drawn to more than just visual beauty. It speaks to those seeking presence, depth, and a moment of stillness.

In a world overwhelmed by speed and digital noise, I create slow, analogue art to bring us back to presence.
